my summer holidays

I am writing about my summer holiday's for a project for school. Usually I go away on holiday and go out with my friends. Hopefully it will be warm this year so I can go outside and get some practise in on my trampolining skills. I can't wait because in the school holidays we don't get any homework so i have more free time.

The basic moves

Hello, Woof is back.

There are six basic moves in trampolining.  The basic moves include a star jump, a half turn, a full turn,a tuck jump,a straddle jump and a pike jump.

Star jump:
When doing a star jump you need to make star shape in the air.

Tuck jump:

When doing a tuck jump try and get your knees up to your chest.

Straddle jump:
When doing a straddle try and get your hands on your feet or between your legs.

Pikejump:
when doing a pike jump you need to keep your hands out and try and get your hands/fingers on your feet or just out in front of you.

Half turn/twist:
When you do a half turn/twist you need to put your hands straight above you head.  That helps you spin more.  Then jump up and twist your body .  Make sure you keep your hands up. Only spin half way round so your facing the other direcion

Full  turn/twist:

When you do a full turn/twist you need to put your arms up straight above your
head.  While doing his jump up and spin by moving your body.  Make sure
you face the way you started to complete your full turn/twist.

I hope this will help you to learn the basic moves of trampolining.
